1. Cookies on this website

As at 5 September 2026, skalpnorge.no does not set its own cookies for analytics, profiling or marketing. The website does not use local storage for these purposes either.

The hosting platform may process ordinary technical request data to deliver and secure the website. This is described in more detail in the privacy notice.

2. Google Maps loads only when you request it

The map is blocked when the page first opens. Content is fetched directly from Google only after you select ‘Show Google Maps’. Google may then receive your IP address, browser information and information about the page you are visiting, and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own terms.

You can use the studio address without loading the map. Opening the map is optional and does not affect the rest of the website.

3. External links

Links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google Maps and other external services open services with their own privacy and cookie rules. These services do not receive data through an embedded integration before you choose to open them.

4. Why is there no cookie banner?

Norwegian rules require valid prior consent for cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary. A consent banner is neither needed nor appropriate when a website uses only exempt, strictly necessary solutions. Because analytics and marketing are not enabled and external map content is blocked until you request it, we do not display a general cookie banner.

If we introduce analytics, advertising or other optional tracking in future, this notice and the consent solution will be updated before the technology is enabled.

5. Browser settings

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The procedure varies between browsers. Blocking cookies from external services may affect their functionality, but not ordinary use of skalpnorge.no.
